I started a series of boxes called the ABC Song. They are based on a song my kids learned which uses words for each letter of the alphabet. I got the first few done and planted. Apple, Baby, Cat, Dog, Ear and Fish. Ice and Light have gone missing. I have Toy carved but not hidden. Nice is being used as a postal at the moment. So that was at least 18 months ago. I have since lost steam. I decided that the best thing to do would be to put a shout out on the boards and see if I could get any carvers out there to donate a stamp so that I could get this series finished up.
Well friends, I need to say Thank-You in a big way. Not only did I get the stamps I needed but I have already started to receive them. They are amazing. I am so excited because now I get to go on a planting spree. I have a tone of boxes ready to go and Logbooks are being made and It wont be long before these find their way to the great outdoors. The weather is even cooperating this weekend. I hope that I get a few more nice days to wander in the woods. =)
