We recently attended a letterboxing mini-meet in Hell Michigan. We met a couple dubbed "dem xx men" from Portland, OR. It was a fun time especially since there was at least a foot of snow in Hell at the time. We joked that we should have gotten a photo by the "HELL" sign and added the caption that it had officially frozen over! We simply ran out of time.
not so sneakily did I obtained 2 of his personal travelers and what awesome carves they were. Amazing. The detail was so minute. he also carved a devil stamp to commemorate the event. I just had to stamp it in RED.
Condo came from Saginaw and then she and I (with kids in tow) went to Linden. She wanted to make sure my clues to the box I had just planted were right. Good thing because there was typo. She nabbed first finder and we chatted for just a bit, and on her way she went. It was a great time and next time I will make sure I get the letterbox that is hidden there. I must go to the ice cream shop also.
