Its been awhile

Wow, its been awhile since I last logged in. Not much has happened around here. The kids are busy with homework and sledding in the snow. We are searching for a new car to buy. When did they become so expensive? It seems as tho nothing that will seat 5 is under $30,000.00. We really do not want something so expensive. On a brighter note, Sew -n- Sew is back sewing. This years quilt is a One Block Wonder. if you have never seen one it looks like this...


cool huh. I definitely will be making more than one of these. I need to get new fabric. The facbic I have now isn't a large enough print. I keep getting repeating blocks and that is even with turning the corners like a true Kaleidoscope. Next time I will have a better choice of material.

This years Red gift for valentines day was a Pandora bead for my bracelet. It is very pretty. I was not expecting something so useful...lol... His red gift was an Affliction T-shirt and a Tap-out T-shirt. Yes, they had red on them. We were both happy with our gifts. =) I cannot forget the flowers and candy that went with mine and the Pecan Pie that went with his. Isn't Valentines Day fun?! It just has to be RED!
