Friday was the big day. a Mini-meet of about 14 people meeting at Panera Bread in Roseville, MI. The occasion? two letterboxers from central Ohio we here visiting their Aunt.
I was planning on going all week then when the day came I was so busy that I didn't think I would have the time to get down there and I didn't want to take all 3 kids. Well at the last minute I decided to go with just Mahoney leaving the boys at home.
It took us an hour and a half to get there. There were a few places that the travel slowed down but we never stopped. I called My girlfriend Michele that lives about 10 minutes away and had her meet us there. If I had know it was going to be such a whirlwind I would have had her meet us later in the evening.
Once we got the stamps out for 3 hours straight we stamped, exchanged, talked and there were even table boxes. Such fun even if a bit over whelming.
We got to meet Wander Woman, Keeping up with the Jones, BNL Baligrl, Cool K, Double Dragon, For now and Railroader, SITE sleuths, and Mully was there.
The drive home was without slow downs and much faster.
cannot wait to do it all again.
