The sun is out and temps are up (50 degrees) and my littlest guy looks at me and says "Can we go Letterboxing Mama?" Oh, Boy he has the itches just like I do. I am so anxious to get out there and box. I have three ready to be planted. Baby, Big Guy, and Pearl. We loaded up into the Jeep and off we went. First stop the elementary school to pick up brother. We went to plant Big Guy and wouldn't you know it, right where we want to hide it, someone was lurking. So off to plant Baby. Well the spot we had chosen for it was indoors and the location wasn't too keen on having it there. So now all that is left is Pearl. We were on our way when both boys claimed they were tired and hungry. Home we went. They are sleeping now with bellies full and even though we didn't get any boxes planted we sure had fun trying. Now off the figure out plan B for Baby!! (Kinda fitting isn't it)
I also have to find new locations for Squirrel Zone and ABC Song: Cat. Hopefully they will not be too very hard.
The hardest time I have with planting these boxes are the logbooks. I wish I could make them easier. they are time consuming and mine do not turn out very good. I am back to purchasing them. The bad part about that is then you need a larger box and it isn't as easy to hide.
Maybe this year I will get my ABC Song Series finished. Lets hope so.
