Letterboxing, Letterboxing is that all we ever do?

Well, of course not. Although it does seem like that at times. Recently the kids and I went to the movies and seen Kung-Fu Panda. It was such a cute movie. The theater actually had quite a few people in it and most of them were adults. =)
Then a few days later we went to Castaway Play. It is a 3 story indoor play place. They have 2 two story slides and 2 three story slides. A lot of climbing tunnels, as well as little nook and crannies filled with a ball pit, climbing things, and obstacle course. For the parents they have leather recliners and sofas and a Huge back wall tucked away that Dads can watch sports. Lots of 8 ft. Tables in a dining area. Since they cleaned the place up and put in new carpeting it is better than it had been in the recent past. One big Plus to this visit...Barely anyone there! We went on a week night. I must confess we met our Letterboxing friends Mully Gang there. It was great. The kids played and while Mully and I spread out on the long tables and did lettering boxing things. It worked out for both the kids and the adults.
After Castaway we raced to 7-11 where we got the kids Slurpees and or Popsicles. It was right by a little airport so we had fun watching the planes take off and land. 7-11 had a nice little resting area on the side of their building and we played and visited and goofed around for at least another hour. The night was coming and it was getting to be after the kids bedtime, so we said our good-byes and made promises to do it again. Soon.

Then came a nice little mini-vacation. For just the adults of this family. We went to see Sully Erna. He is touring alone and calling it his Exposed tour. There are very few dates and venues in which to see him, and we were close to one. Absolutely awesome. For just being by himself, I can honestly say I didn't miss the band. The venue was so small it was like kicking back in someones living room and just listening to an impromptu concert. Very low key and personable. A great time. Our stay over night was great too =).

Yesterday it was back to mommy mode all the kids had dentist appointments. then I wanted to go see Wall-E, but they had other plans. So swimming at Grammas won out.

we have been having fun...and now the next story will be about a recent letterbox trip.
